An alert was issued by the department at around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 11, advising that there was a death investigation ongoing in the 17100 block of Downing Street in Gaithersburg.
According to a Montgomery County Department of Police spokesperson, the scene is secured, and there is no threat to the public on Wednesday afternoon.
No additional information was provided by the police. More details are expected to be released as the investigation continues.
